Gaganyaan: Flight Test Vehicle Abort Mission scheduled at 8 am Saturday

ISRO is preparing for the Flight Test Vehicle Abort Mission as part of the Gaganyaan human space mission. The test is scheduled for October 21, 2023, and will simulate an abort condition during the ascent trajectory. Prime Minister Narendra Modi chaired a meeting to assess the progress of the Gaganyaan mission and outlined future space exploration goals, including setting up an Indian Space Station by 2035 and sending the first Indian to the Moon by 2040. The Gaganyaan project aims to launch a crew of 3 members into orbit for a 3-day mission and bring them back safely.
