Gene-therapy must be accessible to all: CJI

Chief Justice of India D Y Chandrachud stressed the importance of making costly gene therapy accessible to all, especially those outside urban centers. Speaking at a Bengaluru conference, he highlighted financial barriers and called for indigenous solutions, societal awareness, and industry support through CSR initiatives and tax incentives to make treatments affordable.
