GGP candidate to contest Manpur from behind bars

Radheyshyam Kakodia, a candidate from the Gondwana Gantantra Party, will be contesting the upcoming election from jail against sitting MLA Meena Singh in the Manpur constituency in Umaria district. Kakodia was arrested along with 40 others after a protest turned violent. Party leaders are working towards his release, but if he remains in jail, party volunteers will work on his behalf. The Gondwana Gantantra Party is contesting in alliance with the BSP for a total of 53 seats in the state.
