Ghatkopar tragedy: Hoarding owner paid Rs 1 crore for approval

Investigations revealed that Govandi businessman Arshad Khan received Rs 1 crore from Ego Media Pvt Ltd to secure approval for the hoarding that collapsed in Ghatkopar, killing 17 people. Police have arrested others involved and are probing connections between Khan and the media firm, including questionable money transfers and his business ties with a suspended officer’s wife.
