Global smartphone volumes in Q3 2023 saw an 8% YoY decline, marking the ninth consecutive quarter of decline. However, on a QoQ basis, volumes grew by 2%. The decline in volumes can be attributed to slower than expected recovery in consumer demand. Samsung remained the top player, capturing 20% of the market, while Apple secured the second spot with 16% market share.
