‘GOAT’ actor Vijay becomes the highest tax payer in 2024 beating Salman Khan, Amitabh Bachchan

Actor Vijay’s film ‘GOAT’ grossed more than Rs 43 crore on its opening day. The film had a budget of Rs 400 crore, with Vijay earning Rs 200 crore, making him the highest-paid actor in Tamil cinema. He paid an income tax of Rs 80 crore for the year 2023-2024, surpassing Salman Khan and Amitabh Bachchan.
