Google Photos will soon show when AI has been used to edit images

Google Photos will soon indicate AI edits directly in-app, providing clear details such as name, location, and camera specifics. This move aims to increase transparency, following Google’s AI Principles, as sophisticated AI tools make editing distinctions harder. Metadata will also show images edited using features like Best Take and Add Me.
