Google shuts down Dunzo’s Google Workspace account, here’s why

Dunzo, an online delivery service, has switched its employee work accounts from Google Workspace to Zoho in an effort to reduce costs. Google had suspended Dunzo’s access to Google Workspace due to nonpayment, resulting in the loss of employees’ email history. The move to Zoho is expected to save the cash-strapped company over 30% in costs. Dunzo has been facing financial challenges, with a loss of Rs 1,800 crore in FY23 and plans to reduce its workforce.
