Govindarajan Padmanabhan to receive first Vigyan Ratna award

Celebrated biochemist Govindarajan Padmanabhan was awarded the first ‘Vigyan Ratna’ for lifetime achievements, while Isro’s Chandrayaan-3 team received the inaugural ‘Vigyan Team’ award. The government announced 33 recipients for the ‘Rashtriya Vigyan Puraskar’ 2024. The awards will be presented by President Droupadi Murmu on National Space Day, August 23, at Rashtrapati Bhavan.
