Govt appoints SSB chief Daljit Singh Chaudhary BSF director general

The central government has named Daljit Singh Chaudhary, current Sashastra Seema Bal chief, as the new director general of the BSF. A 1990 batch IPS officer, Chaudhary also holds the director general position at the National Security Guard. Known for his exceptional law enforcement career, he has earned multiple gallantry medals.
