Gujarat man under scanner in US over fake green cards

A 33-year-old Gujarati man named Atul Patel was under investigation in the United States for allegedly providing forged American green cards sourced from China to illegal immigrants. He posed as an Indian embassy employee, offering fake IR-1 and employment-based green cards. Victims reported receiving substandard and counterfeit cards after paying large sums of money.
