Gujarat to set up 48 MW capacity solar rooftop systems on govt buildings in FY25

The Gujarat government is set to install solar rooftop systems totaling 48 MW on various government buildings this financial year with an allocation of Rs 177 crore. By March 2024, they aim to have installed a total of 3,023 systems generating a combined capacity of 56.8 MW. In the last year, Gujarat generated over 24,765 million units of renewable energy.
