Gurgaon: Contract given in April, drains not cleaned yet, sewage flows on to road

Overflowing sewer lines near Delhi Public School and a community center in Sector 45, Gurgaon, have plagued residents for weeks, creating mosquito breeding grounds and unbearable stench. Despite repeated complaints and a Rs 65 lakh contract for desilting, no cleaning has been done. An MCG official claimed that desilting work will start soon after completing another area.
