Reports indicated that Piramal Group’s employee data may have been hacked, with names and email addresses of current and former employees being offered for sale. However, Piramal Group denied any breach, attributing the data to a third-party platform. The government’s CERT-In was also notified and found no compromise in Piramal’s systems.
