Hackers are using this ‘dangerous’ technique to attack computers running protected version of Windows

Cybersecurity researcher Alon Leviev discovered two zero-day vulnerabilities in Microsoft’s Windows software that allow hackers to downgrade security updates, gaining access to computers. Despite being fully patched, these systems can become vulnerable to past exploits. Microsoft is working to resolve these issues after being notified in February, though no attacks have been identified yet.
