Has Covid impacted fertility in both sexes? Docs debate

The Mind Matters-2023 summit organized by Happiest Health discussed the long-lasting effects of Covid-19. Dr Narain Naidu from the Global Nutrition Healthcare Council in California linked Covid-19 with fertility, mentioning a decline in sperm counts and increased miscarriages. Dr Mahesh Koregol from Nova IVF Fertility explained that Covid-19 may affect the male reproductive system and cause irregularities in menstruation for women. Dr Shwetha S Kamath from BirthRight by Rainbow Children’s Hospital attributed the rise in infertility and miscarriages to micro-clots caused by Covid-19.
