HC attaches man’s house as he fails to pay maintenance to wife

Karnataka high court orders attachment of man’s property for not paying maintenance to wife and differently abled son. Court directs monthly payment from 2012. Wife left in 2002 alleging cruelty. Maintenance increased to Rs 5,000 each in HC. Arrears, immovable property, and family court involvement noted. Section 39 of Transfer of Property Act and property charge discussed.
