Home minister Amit Shah speaks with Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel in wake of heavy rain

Union home minister Amit Shah assured support to Gujarat’s chief minister Bhupendra Patel and State home minister Harsh Sanghavi following severe rains causing flood-like conditions. A review meeting led by chief secretary Rajkumar was held to assess the forecast. Instructions were given to district administrations to remain alert, especially during the Shravan festivals, to prevent mishaps.
