How Amausi airport took wings

Lucknow’s Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport (CCSIA) has a rich history dating back to 1986 when it operated flights to Mumbai and Delhi. Today, it is one of Uttar Pradesh’s three international airports, connecting 25 domestic destinations and eight international cities. With the recent transfer of ownership to the Adani Group, plans are underway to construct a new terminal and develop a larger cargo facility to meet the growing demand. The airport is expected to become a major transportation hub in the region.
