How microplastic count increases in soda bottles every time you open it

A study revealed that opening Coca-Cola and Schweppes bottles increase their microplastic count, with counts rising significantly by the 20th opening. Findings showed all microplastics were under 500 micrometers, with many smaller than 100 micrometers. The French NGO has urged local authorities to implement guidelines about soda bottles following these results.
