Illicit liquor , narcotics worth Rs 10.87 crore seized since inception of Model Code

The Election Commission of India is working to prevent voter inducement by monitoring illegal liquor, narcotics, and cash movements through various state agencies. Since August 16, 2024, seizures worth Rs.10.87 crore have occurred in Haryana. Multiple departments are taking action under the Model Code of Conduct to ensure fair elections.
