India, France looking to take defence ties to newer heights: Rajnath Singh

India and France have agreed to enhance their defence-industrial cooperation and explore collaboration in areas such as space, cyber, and artificial intelligence. The two countries have also discussed the acquisition of French Rafale-Marine fighters and Scorpene diesel-electric submarines. Additionally, they have agreed to co-develop advanced fighter jet and helicopter engines, with the proposed project aiming for a 100% transfer of technology.
