Indian aviation industry losses estimated at Rs 20-30 billion in FY2025: ICRA

The Indian aviation industry is forecasted to experience a net loss of Rs. 20-30 billion in FY2025 and FY2026, an increase from the Rs. 10 billion loss in FY2024. Persistent supply chain challenges and engine failures have reduced capacity, grounding aircraft and escalating operating costs, resulting in financial difficulties for some airlines.
