The Indian community and friends of India in France observed Black Day on October 22 to protest the illegal entry of Pakistani invaders into Jammu and Kashmir in 1947. They called on secular countries to unite against states that sponsor terrorism and represent a threat to world peace. The protesters highlighted the growing radicalization and divisions based on religion, citing recent events in France.
