India’s 1st CAR-T cell therapy developed by ImmunoACT gets CDSCO nod

Mumbai-based Immunoadoptive Cell Therapy Private Limited (ImmunoACT) has received approval from the Central Drugs Standard Control Organization (CDSCO) for India’s first Chimeric Antigen Receptor T-cell (CAR-T cell) therapy. The therapy, called NexCAR19, is a CD19-targeted CAR-T cell therapy product used to treat relapsed/refractory B-cell lymphomas and leukemia.
