India’s Chirag is U-23 World wrestling champion

Chirag Chikkara, from Juan village in Haryana’s Sonepat, won gold in the men’s 57kg category at the under-23 World Wrestling Championships in Albania. Trained by coach Kuldeep Sehrawat, he defeated Kyrgyzstan’s Abdymalik Karachov 4-3 in the final. This victory made Chirag only the third Indian to achieve this feat.
