Indo-Bangla trade resumes via rail route, 40K tonnes freight exported

India has exported about 40,000 tonnes of freight to Bangladesh via the Benapole land port since resuming railway trade. The exports include fly ash, dry oil cake, gypsum, stone, and natural gas. Passenger train services are still suspended. Trade resumed after a 47-day break following talks between high-level officials from both countries.
