An undertrial prisoner in Pune used two cellphones to smuggle drugs worth Rs 2 crore into the city. The prisoner, Lalit Patil, who is undergoing treatment in a hospital, had the cellphones in his possession. The drugs were being transported by a courier, Subhas Mandal, who was intercepted by the police and found to be carrying 1kg of drugs.
