‘Install doors, CCTV cameras’: Udupi police enforce new safety rules for private buses

Udupi police have directed private bus operators to enhance passenger safety by installing CC cameras and doors in all buses. Bus owners must comply by Oct 31. Drivers are prohibited from using mobile phones while driving, and conductors must treat women and children with respect. Several officials attended the meeting to discuss these measures.
