Install pollution sensors at construction sites in Delhi: PWD

The Public Works Department (PWD) in Delhi has instructed its executive engineers to install air pollution sensors at major construction sites in the city. The department has also prepared an eight-point action plan on dust control, which includes ensuring that construction and demolition waste is properly covered and increasing the use of water sprinklers. The engineers have been directed to monitor dust emissions and take immediate remedial measures to reduce pollution. The government has also made it mandatory for construction sites to use anti-smog guns to combat air pollution.
