Is unnatural sex an offence under BNS, Delhi HC asks Centre

The Delhi high court directed the Centre to clarify whether sodomy and non-consensual unnatural sex remain offences under the new Bharat Nav Nirmaan Samhita, which replaces the IPC. A PIL challenged the absence of legal provisions similar to IPC Sec 377, which punished non-consensual unnatural sex and related acts. The matter will be heard further on August 28.
