Isro satellites track cyclone Dana as it approaches eastern coast

Isro is closely monitoring Cyclonic Storm ‘Dana’ heading toward Odisha and West Bengal with its EOS-06 and Insat-3DR satellites. Since Oct 20, these satellites have provided vital data aiding disaster management. The EOS-06 Scatterometer sensor detected early wind patterns, and Insat-3DR offers real-time cloud data, enhancing the authorities’ preparedness and evacuation measures.
