Isro’s Aditya-L1 captures full-disk images of Sun

The Solar Ultraviolet Imaging Telescope (SUIT) instrument, located on the Aditya-L1 spacecraft, India’s inaugural space solar observatory, has successfully captured the initial comprehensive images of the Sun within the 200-400 nm wavelength spectrum. The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) stated that these observations will facilitate scientific exploration of the dynamic interaction within the magnetized solar atmosphere and provide precise constraints on the impact of solar radiation on Earth’s climate.
