The Uttarakhand High Court’s ruling on Sanjiv Chaturvedi’s plea has given hope to officers excluded from central government empanelment lists. Though the order pertains only to Chaturvedi, it may set a precedent for seeking transparency in the evaluation process. The government denied having a 360-degree appraisal system for empanelment.
