ITIs introduce AI module in major push towards skill enhancement and workforce modernisation

The ministry of skill development and entrepreneurship has introduced a 7.5-hour foundational AI module for 14,681 Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) across India. Part of a 120-hour employability skills curriculum, this module aims to familiarize students with AI fundamentals, its impact on industries, and potential career paths. Collaboration with corporates and NGOs ensures industry-aligned content.
