I’ve already rolled out relief, not waiting for Centre: CM

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar attended the traditional march of caparisoned elephants through Mysuru city, along with an air show and torchlight parade. Siddaramaiah expressed concern over the drought situation and stated that necessary measures were being taken to provide drinking water and fodder. He denied allegations of creating an artificial shortage of electricity and explained that the increased demand was due to drought conditions. He also mentioned that the government was providing relief works for affected areas without waiting for funds from the Centre.
