Jammu Police files chargesheet in female doctor’s murder case

The Jammu and Kashmir Police have filed a 1,249-page charge sheet in the murder case of a Hindu female dentist who was killed by her male Muslim friend. The victim was stabbed to death and her body was disposed of by cutting it into 35 pieces. The accused also attempted to end his own life but survived. Protests were held demanding justice and a fresh five-member Special Investigating Team (SIT) was constituted to investigate the case. The investigation is expected to be completed soon.
