Jenna Ortega remembers an emotional audition moment with late Cameron Boyce

​Ortega described the moment as “sweet” and appreciated how Boyce recognized her uneasiness and helped her through it. She said that she was so thankful for such a considerate act because through it, he had made it ‘a little easier’ on her during the extended audition. As for Ortega, the incident speaks a great deal about Boyce’s nature as a thoughtful individual, and she remembered him ‘as always caring and supportive’. Her Beetlejuice co-actor Catherine O’Hara termed Boyce as a “gentleman” for what he did, the term that was fully agreed upon by Ortega.
