J&K Assembly elections: Omar Abdullah says ‘consenus reached on most of seats’

Omar Abdullah of the Jammu and Kashmir National Conference announced that they have reached a consensus on most seats for the Union Territory’s upcoming Assembly elections. An alliance with Congress for all 90 seats was confirmed. Additional discussions will finalize candidate lists. Elections will occur in three phases beginning September 18, with results announced on October 4.
