J&K polls: Cong urges NC & PDP to form broad alliance against BJP

Congress urged the National Conference (NC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to form a wider alliance in Jammu and Kashmir assembly polls to defeat the BJP. Congress general secretary Ghulam Ahmad Mir emphasized unity, citing the earlier collaboration as the People’s Alliance for Gupkar Declaration, and criticized them for not staying united during the Lok Sabha elections.
