Karnataka govt gets Rs 7.5 crore proposal for constructing new market building, municipal office in Virajpet

The government received a Rs 7.5 crore proposal for a new market building at Virajpet’s private bus stand and allocated Rs 2.5 crore for a new municipal building. Lack of adequate facilities led to the re-auctioning of shops. Concerns about waste management costs and poor maintenance of public toilets were also addressed during a municipal meeting.
