Kerala govt employee scales Mount Vinson in Antarctica
Shaikh Hassan Khan, a 36-year-old government employee from Kerala, has successfully ascended Mount Vinson, the highest peak in Antarctica, marking his conquest of the fifth-highest peak. Despite enduring frostbite on both hands during the ascent, Khan reached the summit and proudly hoisted the Indian flag. His mission is to raise awareness about climate change challenges in Antarctica. Khan has previously conquered Mount Everest, Mount Denali, Mount Kilimanjaro, and Mount Elbrus. He plans to conquer Mount Aconcagua in Argentina, the highest peak outside the Himalayas.
