‘Khel Khel Mein’ box office collection day 1: The Akshay Kumar-Taapsee Pannu starrer has lowest start among Independence Day releases; collects Rs 5 crore

Khel Khel Mein, directed by Mudassar Aziz and starring Akshay Kumar, Taapsee Pannu, and Vaani Kapoor, opened weakly with Rs 5 crore on Independence Day, lagging behind Stree 2 and Vedaa. Akshay Kumar’s recent box office challenges have intensified scrutiny, but Jolly LLB 3 could signal his comeback, with focus on successful sequels and Maddock’s popular horror-comedy universe.
