Kolkata hospital rape-murder: FAIMA to continue nationwide shutdown of OPD services

The Federation of All India Medical Association (FAIMA) continued its nationwide OPD services shutdown after discussing with Resident Doctors’ Association, in response to the murder of a postgraduate trainee doctor in Kolkata. Resident doctors at BMC and AGMC also staged strikes, demanding central protection and swift punishment for the culprit.
