Kolkata: Light post comes in Orange line’s way near airport

A light post on VIP Road is obstructing the completion of the Orange Line’s final 900 metres to the airport. Despite RVNL’s January 2024 deadline, various obstacles, including the lamp post and a previously resolved hoarding issue, have caused significant delays. Engineers are uncertain if the project will be completed by February.
