Kolkata metro carried more than 5.3 crore passengers in the last three months

In Kolkata, metro railways experienced a rise in usage, with 5.3 crore passengers riding from May to July 2024 across all lines. The Blue Line alone saw over 4.6 crore passengers. Metro earnings surpassed Rs 80 crores with many choosing digital payment options for purchasing and recharging tickets.
