Kolkata Municipal Corporation set to spend Rs 700 crore to rejuvenate choked Adi Ganga

The Kolkata Municipal Corporation (KMC) is set to spend nearly Rs 700 crore on a three-year project to clean and rejuvenate Adi Ganga, now called Tolly’s Nullah. The plan includes setting up sewage treatment plants along the banks. EMS Ltd has emerged as the lowest bidder for the Rs 681-crore tender.
