Kolkata rape-murder: It was wrong to tell parents she died by suicide, says HoD

The head of RG Kar Medical College’s chest department admitted it was wrong to inform the parents of a PG trainee that she had died by suicide, given she was raped and murdered. Dr. Dutta Chowdhury wasn’t present during the call, and indicated that the hospital should have filed an FIR.
