Lack of vision? For 5 yrs now, Goa has no eye bank

Goa has been without an eye bank for five years after the state government chose not to renew the Rotary Club’s licence. The new facility at Goa Medical College is almost ready but still needs key staff positions filled. Private hospitals have agreements with external eye banks, but they cannot retrieve corneas from Goa for processing.
