Light rain in parts of Goa, monsoon to withdraw soon

Goa experienced light rain at isolated places, offering a brief respite from rising temperatures. The rainfall is expected to persist through the coming days, with scattered spots of rain forecasted until Monday. However, the weather is predicted to become drier on October 17 and 18. Thunderstorms with lightning and gusty winds may occur at isolated locations. The southwest monsoon is also expected to withdraw from several parts of India in the next two days.
